Cancellation Policy


We value your time as we hope you value ours.


It’s important to understand that when forgetting or cancelling appointments without giving enough notice, businesses lose the chance to fill that appointment time, and other clients waiting for appointments miss out on receiving services. The charge for a missed appointment is not a charge for the service itself but rather is a charge for the missed opportunity to pay the commissions and gratuity that our staff relies on as part of their wages.


For the benefit and respect of all our clients and service providers, booking appointments with Saunders & James are subject to the following terms:

  • At the time of booking (online or by phone), we require a valid credit card to secure your appointment. You will only be charged at the end of your service or in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.

  • As a courtesy, appointment confirmation messages are sent 48 hours in advance of appointments by both SMS and email to the contact information given at time of booking.

  • You may cancel your appointment without charge anytime 12 hours preceding the start time of your appointment.

  • Less than 12 hours notice is considered a “Late Cancellation” and will result in a charge up to 50% of the scheduled service(s).

  • If you do not cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show” and charged full price of the scheduled service(s).

  • Appointments that are booked within the 12-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.

  • If you change or alter your appointment during your service time it may be considered a last minute cancellation.

  • To ensure a full experience, please arrive on time or slightly early for your scheduled appointment time.

  • Late Arrivals

    • If you know you're going to be late, please call ASAP. If you are more than 5 minutes late, your service(s) may need to be shortened or rescheduled to accommodate the needs of our staff and other customers.

    • If two services are booked, and we do not have time to accommodate both services, you can choose which service you want provided. The missed service will be considered a late cancellation and will result in a charge up to 50% of the scheduled service.

    • If one service is booked and we are not able to accommodate the full service, this will also be considered a late cancellation and will result in a charge up to 50% of the scheduled service.

  • Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.
